A helicopter took them from Tasiilaq on Saturday to the Hahn Glacier where they arranged their luggage before heading off. The weather was great – bright sunny skies. They skied 3.6 km in 1.5 hours. Yesterday (Sunday) they skied for 4.5. hours with 11.8 km behind them. The weather was still good but way too hot according to Einar the expedition’s leader. He was optimistic and said they were getting the right rhythm and the group was in very good spirit. Yesterday they were at little less than 1.200 meters above sea level and gained 200 meters, but said that in the next days their accent would not be as great.
